A highly visual agency portfolio that prioritizes clean architecture without sacrificing performance.

Jexxi Interior is a portfolio concept crafted to showcase architectural and design spaces. Because interior design relies heavily on high-fidelity photography, the primary objective was building a fluid, image-forward interface that didn't choke on mobile devices.

By leveraging the Bootstrap 5 framework, the layout maintains strict, reliable grids and native carousel components. This allowed for rapid deployment of a robust frontend that naturally adapts from large desktop displays down to mobile screens.

The Challenge

Heavy imagery
destroys performance.

Interior design sites live and die by their photography. However, loading massive desktop-resolution images on a mobile device leads to terrible page speeds and high bounce rates. The challenge was maintaining visual excellence without building a bloated website.

The Solution

Precision image
routing.

I utilized HTML5 `` elements paired with strict `srcset` media queries. This forces the browser to conditionally load smaller, optimized image files for mobile users, while reserving the heavy, high-resolution assets exclusively for large desktop displays. Combined with Bootstrap's lightweight grid, the site remains lightning fast.
