Overview
Jexxi Gamehub is a frontend concept for a curated game download platform. It combines a strict dark-mode aesthetic with high-performance browser interactions, aiming to feel less like a standard website and more like a dedicated application.
The layout was constructed using Tailwind CSS to ensure rapid, consistent styling across all devices. The interactive elements, including the slide-out navigation and scroll-triggered reveals, were engineered with vanilla JavaScript to maintain strict control over DOM performance.
My Role
The Challenge
Mobile menus on complex directories often feel rigid, blocking the screen poorly or relying on heavy third-party plugins that slow down the initial page load. The goal was to build a premium mobile experience that felt entirely native to the device.
The Solution
I engineered a custom slide-out drawer using vanilla JavaScript. By toggling specific Tailwind utility classes, the drawer slides smoothly into view while simultaneously locking the body scroll and applying a dark backdrop blur. It achieves an app-like feel without importing a single external library.

Outcome
The final prototype delivers a high-impact, gaming-focused user interface. The custom DOM interactions and scroll tracking provide a premium feel while maintaining excellent performance metrics.
By integrating the Intersection Observer API alongside a custom scroll spy, the platform actively responds to the user's position on the page, dynamically updating navigation states and revealing content without bogging down the browser.
